The Loft Retreat Rental Terms and Conditions
Prices & Payment
$450 per night + HST, minimum 2 night stay. Long weekends have a minimum 3 night stay.
$2,300 + HST weekly rental from Friday to Friday
$3,500 + HST monthly rental.
50% of rental is due on booking
Full refund up to 7 days prior to arrival date
50% refund up to 3 days prior to arrival date
No refund 2 days or less prior to arrival date
Note that longer term tenancy are accepted from September 2024 on. This space is designated primarily for short term professional and vacation occupancy only. Please contact Rosemarie, 25marshall.place@gmail.com for questions.
The Loft Retreat uses third party booking software that comes built in with terms and conditions. The terms and conditions you sign when booking are official. This list is is supplementary and subject to change without notice.
Your Host
The Loft Retreat is managed by Rosemarie Eger who is the former owner of Highview B&B. Rosemarie prides herself in quality, comfortable and welcoming spaces. She lives in the attached residence with her large dog. Should you need support, please call 519-939-8186 or email 25marshall.place@gmail.com
Longer Stays
The Loft Retreat cannot be rented for longer than 30 consecutive days as per local short term rental regulations. This space is not designed as a long term residence. By laws where put into place in 2021.
Are pets welcome?
Yes pets are welcome. We require that all pet excrement be picked up both on site and offsite with correct disposal. Should damage occur on site, the renter will be liable for repair costs. Continuous loud noises will not be tolerated and ongoing disruptive noises may result is eviction.
Help us keep our pets and animal friends safe. This rental space is attached to a permanent residence who keeps pets. We also encourage wildlife to use our property and require guests to keep our animal and plant life as you found it. Animal attacks, hole digging, abandoned excrement and other disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Cleaning
The Loft Retreat is committed to cleaning and disinfect the premises between each use. We require guests to dispose of garbage in the correct bins before vacating the premises and removing all personal effects. We request that the rental unit be handled in the same way you would handle the space of your best friend. Do not leave food to rot and spot clean as needed. This will ensure that ware and tear is minimized to everyday use.
Two night and weeklong rentals are cleaned before and after use.
Month long rentals include a weekly light cleaning with linen service.
Damage
Please report damage to Rosemarie, 25marshall.place@gmail.com and have the space inspected and catalogued before you leave.
Noise and Groups
Please respect our community who lives here all year around. While we all like a party, this is not a party rental. Groups, excessive noise and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Accessibility
The Loft Retreat is accessed through a private entrance at the top of a 19 step staircase. Mobility accommodations are not supported at this time. Guests are required to climb the stairs and carry their own luggage. Refunds will not be issued if guests cannot climb the stairs as we are open about how to access this location. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Parking
One parking spot in the driveway is reverved for guests. Please do not block other cars when parking. Winter parking may require some shoveling as our snow and ice removal can be unpredictable.
